The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People

Workshop 2.0: THE SEVEN HABITS OF HIGHLY EFFECTIVE PEOPLE
A challenging and interactive workshop that highlights seven habits leading to success, not only in one’s career, but in one’s private life as well.

Based on the famous book and self-presentation of Dr. Steven Covey, the workshop will be divided into separate brainstorming and interactive sessions coveringthe 7 habits individually.

During the sessions, the participants will be able to work with real examples and make their own analysis on the applicability of the seven habits to their own career.

Our goal is that all participants will be able to identify both positive and negative patterns that are impeding individuals and teams from bringing the best out of their work and out of themselves.

OVERVIEW OF THE SEVEN HABITS

The participant will be working with the following assumptions/statements:

Habit 1: Be proactive
Are your actions based upon self-chosen values or upon your moods, feelings & and circumstances, and how does this affect your performance at work?

Habit 2: Begin with the end in Mind
Have you written a personal mission statement that provides meaning, purpose and direction to your life? Do your actions flow from this mission?

Habit 3: Put first things first
Are you able to say no to the unimportant, no matter how urgent, and yes to the important?

Habit 4: Think win-win
Do you seek mutual benefit in all your interdependent relationships?

Habit 5: Seek first to understand then to be understood
Do you avoid autobiographical responses and instead, faithfully reflect your understanding of the other person before seeking to be understood?

Habit 6: Synergise
Do you value different opinions, viewpoints and perspectives of others when seeking solutions?

Habit 7: Sharpen the saw
Are you engaged in continuous improvement in the physical, mental, spiritual, and social/emotional dimensions of your life?

How can all this bring good results to your work, save money to your company, and increase overall effectiveness?
